In the modern era where we are driving with advanced technology and advancing to the future are we missing showing empathy to our collogues at work. Are the organization always run with an approach that people can be replaced. As someone mentioned people doesn’t leave organization because of work, it is directly related to the manager and people who they work.
As you see something it could for example a process which could be automated by removing the manual effort which increase the efficiency by removing any error from manual activities and optimizing the cost for the client.
Experienced the feeling of accomplishment at work when my initiative of automating a process which has significantly bought the preparation time from 2 sec(Automation) vs 4 days(manual) has brought an improvement by 158% with automation which is saving the company $178k per year.
The work speaks and lives on – We Report You Decide. Some situation get created at work which are politically motivated to please the people who become managers without earning it organically. We cannot work or continue at a place where we are not valued.
Experience and exposure working at multiple clients helped me understand that in a corporate world you have people in all the four quadrants where they are strong, so for a team to be successful you need to flex to other people and get things done in a more collaborative and professional way to minimize conflicts.
In most situations the messenger who reports about an issue or providing a suggestion which improves the process though it is beneficial to the organization/company you would get tangled in a situation where your in the cross-fires of politics and teams want to claim your work. In this situation you would observe retaliation from and within teams trying to isolate you from the project.
In this situation having peace is really important, the author has decided to have peace than fight at a place where it is not worth his time and effort because it is best to get out of toxic culture and work environment.
